Without an account you can run five checks per day (PDF checks, web pages and HTML conversions combined, one at a time). The day resets at 00:00 UTC. The allowance is counted per public network address, so people sharing an office, campus or carrier network also share the five checks; it is not a personal quota and it cannot tell people on the same address apart.

Files expire after 24 hours

A machine-check result is not a compliance certificate.

What changes?

Scripts and remote resources are removed and reported. The uploaded HTML itself is kept unchanged.

Supported HTML and limitsStatic, self-contained files only

Semantic HTML: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables with header cells, figures, links
Inline CSS in <style> or style=""
Images as inline data:image/png|jpeg|gif|webp up to 512 KB each
<html lang>, <title> and alt text — missing ones are reported, never invented
Scripts, event handlers, javascript: links, iframes, forms, media, SVG
External or relative stylesheets, fonts, images, @import, @font-face

Free conversions accept one file up to 1 MB and 10 pages. Scripts, frames and handlers are stripped and reported with line numbers; nothing is fetched from the network. The rendered PDF is inspected for real structure tags before validation — “tagged was requested” is never treated as “tagged”.
